Marine Sargsyan (Winter 2010)

Marine Sargsyan interned with PFA in winter 2010 through the University of California Washington DC Academic Internship Program (UCDC) while an undergraduate student at UC, Irvine. She managed to work on a research project on Returns to Education in Armenia, and helped with the preparation of an International Forum on Armenian Diaspora organized by PFA. Her tasks included liaising with presenters/panelists and managing the logistical aspects of the event. She received M.A. degree in Economics from UC, Santa Barbara, and a B.A. (with magna cum laude) from UC, Irvine with a specialization in International Issues in Economics. Marine is actively involved in Los Angeles community serving as a volunteer at Catholic Charities’ Immigration and Refugee department.
