Armen Aghasaryan is a research manager at Alcatel-Lucent’s Bell Labs in France. He holds a Ph.D. in Signal Processing and Telecommunications from the University of Rennes, France, an M.S. in Control System Engineering from the Yerevan Polytechnic Institute, and an M.S. in Industrial Engineering from the American University of Armenia. Before joining Alcatel, he spent two years with France Telecom’s R&D department in Lannion, France. Dr. Aghasaryan has coordinated several European collaborative research projects on network management, fault diagnosis and alarm correlation. His current interests include user modeling and profiling, usage analysis, semantic Web, multimedia service personalization, and privacy protection. He is author of more than 30 publications and 4 patents. Since 2005, he has been a Regular Member of the Alcatel-Lucent Technical Academy.
