Vahe Heboyan is a Ph.D. Candidate at the University of Georgia (USA), specializing in International Economics and Development. He holds a B.A. from the Armenian State Agrarian University (1999) and an M.S. from the University of Georgia (2001), where he served as the president of the Armenian Club and the president of the Department of Agricultural and Applied Economics’ Graduate Student Association. In 2001, he won the Claudia DePalma Davis Outstanding M.S. student award and the Rod F. Ziemer outstanding M.S. paper award, while in 2007, he was recognized with the outstanding Ph.D. student award.
