Dzovinar Derderian is a graduate student at Georgetown University's School of Foreign Service. She specializes in Russian, Eurasian and East European Studies, with a specific emphasis on the geopolitics of the South Caucasus. She received her BA in International Relations and Russian and East European Studies from Tufts University. She has researched on current migration patterns from Armenia to Russia and Turkey, and presented a paper entitled "Alternative Destinations of Migration".
